Rest easy, Tony. Thank you for your service, your leadership, and the laughter you shared with us. We’ll take it from here. 🚒❤️
🏎️🔥 COMPANY 4’S FRIDAY NIGHT AT K1 SPEED! 🔥🏎️
What an amazing Friday night we had! A Company 4 crew swapped firefighter helmets and fire trucks for racing helmets and electric go-karts as we headed over to K1 Speed in Totowa, NJ for an evening of go‑kart racing fun.
The night was filled with friendly competition and big smiles, with some of the guys showing off their “professional driver” skills. We're already looking forward to the next outing! 👨🚒🚒💨
2026 is looking to be a very busy year for our company. We've had over 175 calls thus far, including a major structure fire on January 25th. Since we're still experiencing low and/or freezing temperatures, please remember to keep safety in mind:
If you want to warm up your car or truck, NEVER do so in the garage, especially with the garage door closed! It may seem like common sense not to do this, but sometimes people are in a rush and forget. A vehicle idling creates carbon monoxide, which can get to dangerous levels in just 2 minutes, even with the door open. Pull your vehicle out of the garage immediately after starting it!
When charging anything with Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries - toys, laptops, or tools - NEVER leave them alone or charging overnight! These batteries have the potential for thermal runaway, causing fires if damaged, overheated, or overcharged.
