Truck 4 is equipped for aerial operations including roof ventilation, high-floor rescue, and remote fire suppression. It has a 105-foot aerial ladder, a 2,000 gallon per minute pump, and a 500 gallon tank. On-board are numerous tools and ground ladders to help our firefighters perform forcible entry, ceiling removal, and victim extrication.
Engines 4-1 and 4-2 are large volume pumpers, equipped with a 2,000 gallon per minute pump, a 700 gallon booster tank, and a 50 gallon foam tank. Each engine can carry an 8-man crew. Like Truck 4, the engines have multiple tools and ground ladders for various functions, but the primary role of an engine is to get water on the fire!
